OpenMandriva Linux is a community distribution derived from and seen as a successor to Mandriva Linux.
It is based on ROSA Linux and incorporates many of Mandriva's original tools and utilities, whilst creating a new and individual distribution.
It aims to provide stimulation and interest for both first time and advanced users by providing a fully featured distribution that remains stable, simple and straightforward to use.
It features the KDE desktop and the 'Simple Welcome' launcher as well as Firefox, LibreOffice, KMail email, Amora, VLC and ROSA media players.
