Mageia 9 on a 64GB USB Drive is now available containing the KDE, Gnome, Xfce and LXDE desktops. Mageia is a fork of Mandriva Linux formed in September 2010 by former employees and contributors to the popular French Linux distribution. Unlike Mandriva, which is a commercial entity, the Mageia project is a community project and a non-profit organisation whose goal is to develop a free Linux-based operating system.

Mageia 9 packages include Linux Kernel 6.4, Libre Office 7.5, KDE Plasma 6, Gnome 44.2, and Firefox 115 as well as many others.
